The campground at James Island County Park is located minutes from downtown Charleston and Folly beach. The campground has been carefully located among large water oaks providing full hook-ups, large level lots and a wide mixture of big rig friendly pull through and back in sites.
The park is much more than just a campground. This park offers beaches, two dog parks, a water park, a climbing wall, a challenge course, cottages, meeting and event facilities. The campground is located away from the high traffic areas and is very quite. One benefit is the close proximity downtown Charleston, museums, historic plantations, Fort Sumter and so much more. Folly Beach is 3 miles away offering beautiful beaches and great restaurants and fresh seafood.
